what is your Booking & Cancellation and refund Policy ?
A $50 deposit is required to confirm your booking and will be deducted from the total session fee.
The deposit is fully refundable if the session is cancelled at least 7 days in advance.
Cancellations 3–6 days before the session receive a 50% deposit refund.
Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable, but the deposit may be applied as credit for a future session.
Changes to the number of children :
We understand that children may occasionally become sick or unable to attend. If one child cannot attend, we will not charge for that child, even if the absence is reported on the same day.
If the number of children changes(more than 1 kid), please notify us at least 72 hours before the session so we can adjust materials and preparation. If changes are made less than 72 hours before the session, the session may be charged based on the original number of booked children.
Are deposits or advance payments required?
Yes, to save a spot a minimum of $50 deposit is required prior to the session.
Is there a minimum number of children required to book a session?
Yes. A minimum of 5 children for group session is required.
However, for fewer than 5 children, we offer a private session option with a flat rate ( $80 for a 1.5 hour session ).
Do you offer different pricing for small groups, siblings, or twins?
Yes. Small groups, siblings, or twins can book a private art session using our flat-rate pricing ( $80 for a 1.5 hour session ).
This is ideal for families who want a more personal experience.
What is included in the price?
All prices include:
- All art materials and supplies
- Professional art instruction
- Set up and wrap up
- Aprons and tools
- Tables and stools (if needed)
There are no hidden fees.
Do you charge extra for travel within Vancouver or nearby areas?
We serve Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, and Richmond. Travel within these locations is generally included. For farther locations, a small travel fee may apply. Please contact us to confirm if any travel charges apply to your area.
Do prices change based on the type of art session?
No. Our painting, clay, and craft sessions are priced the same, so you can choose the activity based on your child’s interest without worrying about price difference.
What happens if a child gets sick or can’t attend the session?
We understand that children can get sick or something unexpectedly may happen.
If one child is unable to attend due to any issue, we do not charge for that child—even if we are notified on the day of the session—as long as the total number of children still meets our minimum of 5.
Where is Van Go Art studio located at?
Van Go Art is a mobile art studio based in Vancouver. We do not have a permanent physical studio.
Instead, we bring art classes directly to your location across Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, and Richmond.
How long is each session, and is set up and wrap up time included?
Each session is 1.5 hour total, including:
- About 1 hour of guided art instruction
- About 30 minutes for set up and wrap up

Are materials and supplies included, or do parents need to provide anything?
All materials are fully included.
Parents and daycares do not need to provide anything—we arrive fully prepared.

Do you leave a mess behind?

Yes. Our art sessions are designed for daycares, preschools, schools, and group programs across Great Vancouver.
We adjust activities based on age and group size and handle all set up and clean up.
Do you offer art classes for toddlers under age 3 in Vancouver?
Yes, we offer toddler art sessions in Vancouver.
For children under 3 years old, we recommend painting sessions, as they are safer, simpler, and better suited to toddlers’ motor skills and attention span. For free consultation, please contact us.
Do you offer art classes for twins or two children only?
Yes. Twins or two children can join through a private session using our small-group pricing ( $80 for a 1.5 hour session / up to 4 kids ).
This allows for a more personal and relaxed experience.
Can children take their artwork home after the session?
Yes! All children take their artwork home at the end of the session—whether it’s a painting, clay sculpture, or craft project.

What happens during a clay art session for kids?
Our kids clay sculpture sessions in Vancouver begin with a short, simple demonstration. Children learn basic clay techniques such as rolling, pinching, shaping, and joining pieces.
After the demo, kids create their own clay sculpture with guidance and support. The focus is on hands-on creativity, fun, and confidence, not copying.
How does the clay dry, and how do kids take their sculptures home?
We use air-dry clay.
Each child takes their sculpture home on a paper plate or tray. The clay dries naturally at room temperature within a few days.
Once fully dry, children can paint their sculpture at home if they wish.
What happens during a painting session?
Our kids painting classes in Vancouver start with a brief introduction to the theme. We show children simple steps for creating a background and using basic acrylic painting techniques on canvas.
Kids are encouraged to add their own creative details, so every painting is unique.
What happens during a craft session?
In our kids craft sessions in Vancouver, children work with mixed materials such as paper, cardboard, wood pieces, and decorative elements.
We explain the activity, show examples, and guide the kids while giving them plenty of creative freedom and imagination.
Do you provide the location for birthday parties or art events?
No. Since we are a mobile art studio, we do not provide the event space.
